Hugo Lloris expects more from Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris is confident that there is more to come from the team as they look to build on a seven-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Hugo Lloris has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur are heading in the right direction as they prepare to return to Premier League action at the weekend.

Spurs have not lost any of their last seven league games since suffering defeat on the opening day of the campaign, but four draws have left Mauricio Pochettino's side eighth in the table.

However, Lloris is confident that there is more to come from the team as they bid to make a strong challenge for Champions League qualification.

"If we keep playing the same way with the same attitude then we're going to win a lot of games," the French goalkeeper told the club's website. "If we have to improve on one aspect of our game it's in front of goal – we have to score more.

"It's not only about one player but all the attacking players – they need to get into the box and be more aggressive with a desire to score.

"The rest will come, though, if we keep the same attitude and behaviour."

Spurs host Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
