Michael Laudrup: "We need a win"

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup believes that his side must beat Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Michael Laudrup has said that Swansea City "need a win" against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The Swans are without a win in their last seven matches, leaving them 13th in the Premier League table.

The manager told reporters: "We need a win. I can't complain about the performances or attitude. We have had the chances to win, but we just haven't taken them.

"We have to keep doing what we are doing but focus on winning games. The game on Sunday isn't against a direct opponent, but it is at home. And no disrespect to Spurs, but I believe they are beatable and we can win this game.

"I've watched all of their games, apart from the game against Palace, and I think they have been doing well. They have changed a bit tactically, playing with two forwards since bringing [Emmanuel] Adebayor in from the cold, and it has had a huge impact on their results."

The teams meet at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
