Mauricio Pochettino 'disappointed' with result, not performance

Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino says that he is disappointed with the team's 2-2 draw with Swansea City, but not with the way that his side played.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he is disappointed with the result of his side's 2-2 draw with Swansea City, but not with the team's performance.

Spurs were reliant on two standout free kicks from Christian Eriksen, as they twice came from behind against Garry Monk's men to secure a point in Wales.

"We have maybe dropped two points," said Pochettino, according to eurosport.co.uk.

"We are disappointed with the result but not the performance or effort. We were a bit unlucky, you need luck in football to win the game, and we played better than Swansea .

"We did not win the game because of an own goal but Harry [Kane] does not need to worry about it. He does a lot for the team."

Spurs currently hold eighth spot in the league standings after eight games played this term.
