Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that he is expecting 'aggression' from Brighton & Hove Albion when the clubs meet in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested that he is wary of the threat offered by Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

On Tuesday night, Spurs make the short trip to the home of the Seagulls looking to regain a 10-point lead over Chelsea in the race for fourth place in the Premier League table.

However, Pochettino has claimed that his side will have to withstand an "aggressive" performance from their hosts, who are trying to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.

At a press conference, the 46-year-old told reporters: "They were fantastic every time they face big teams. They were capable to beat Arsenal. Yes it is going to be a very tough game for us.

"We need the points to get the gap with Chelsea to try to be sure to be in the Champions League next season, but at the same time we need to think that we are going to find a very aggressive team that plays for survival. Of course they play very well there."

In the reverse fixture in December, Spurs recorded a 2-0 win at Wembley Stadium.
