Mauricio Pochettino: 'We must find way to compete with Manchester City'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino admits that his side must find a way to change the recent "dynamic" after City claimed victory in eight of the last nine games.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that Saturday's fixture with Manchester City is an opportunity to "change the dynamic" between the two sides.

City have won eight of the last nine meetings, scoring 28 goals in the process, but Pochettino has insisted that his players can end their horrific recent record by 'competing' with the Premier League leaders.

The 43-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Tomorrow is a good opportunity to change the dynamic.

"Football is psychological and emotional. We need to be ready to compete. This is the most important thing. To compete.

"We are ready, we are fresh and we want to give a good result to our fans after the defeat on Wednesday."

Spurs can close the gap on City to three points if they emerge victorious at White Hart Lane.
