Danny Rose: 'I feel very settled at Tottenham Hotspur'

Danny Rose says that he feels "settled" in North London after signing a new five-year contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has claimed that he now feels "settled" in North London after signing a new contract at White Hart Lane.

The club announced this morning that the England international has committed the next five years of his career to Spurs.

Rose, who joined Tottenham from Leeds United in 2007, has cemented a spot in Mauricio Pochettino's team after being sent out on loan four times during his time at Spurs.

"It was hard when I first moved down to Essex and Tottenham, I was going home every chance I could," Rose told Spurs TV.

"I wasn't playing regularly and it's only been the last three or four years where I've felt more settled, more part of the club and part of the team and I'm loads happier. The manager has had a lot to do with that and so has the chairman, to be fair.

"I'm settled, I love living down south and funnily enough, when I get the chance to go back home to Doncaster, I don't go back too much now. I would never have thought that when I first moved down here."

Rose has made 126 appearances for the club.
