Tottenham Hotspur's match-winner Kyle Walker has claimed that it "doesn't get much better" than scoring the winning goal during a North London derby.
With the scores locked at 1-1, Walker struck in the 72nd minute from distance to ensure that Spurs claimed all three points at White Hart Lane earlier today.
"It doesn't get much better [than scoring the winner], the 21-year-old told Sky Sports News. "I just picked the ball up and hit it really.
"If you don't buy a lottery ticket than you don't win the lottery."
Walker's man-of-the-match performance come in front of a watching Fabio Capello and the former Sheffield United player hopes he has played his way into the England squad for Friday's match with Montenegro.
"I was in the last squad and hopefully I've done enough this time."
Walker's goal this afternoon was his first for Spurs.
