Bale 'not part of Real Madrid's plans next season'

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Gareth Bale is not part of Real Madrid's plans for the 2021-22 campaign, according to a report.

Real Madrid reportedly do not want Gareth Bale to return to the club for the 2021-22 campaign.

The Wales international was allowed to leave Los Blancos last September to return to Tottenham Hotspur on loan, and he has scored 10 times and registered three assists in 25 appearances for the London club.

The 31-year-old recently revealed that he intends to return to the Bernabeu once his loan deal with Jose Mourinho's side has expired.

However, Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has since said that it is "too early" to know where the Welshman will be playing his football next season.

According to Marca, the former Southampton youngster is not in Madrid's plans for next season, with the Spanish champions determined to move him on in the upcoming market.

The report suggests that Los Blancos would be prepared to allow Bale to leave for nothing this summer in order to shift his substantial wages off the books.

The four-time Champions League winner's contract at Madrid is due to expire in June 2022.
