Everton are reportedly preparing a £10m offer for Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik.
The 26-year-old has not made a single appearance for his Italian club this season and is widely expected to be sold in January with his current deal due to expire next summer.
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with the Poland international over the summer but could not come to an agreement with Napoli over a transfer fee.
According to The Sun, Everton are readying a £10m bid for the striker, who is known to current Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti due to their time together in Naples.
Milik has scored 48 times in 122 appearances for his Serie A club in all competitions, including 14 goals in 35 outings during the 2019-20 campaign.
Everton are currently short of options at centre-forward, having allowed Moise Kean to join Paris Saint-Germain on loan over the summer, which has left Cenk Tosun as the only competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
