Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes reveals that he could now remain at the club next season.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has claimed that he could stay at the club following Harry Redknapp's departure.

The 31-year-old previously admitted a desire to leave following a lack of first-team action under Redknapp, but the Brazilian has stated that "things have changed".

"It was a very hard season, I was desperate to leave. Now things have changed as the manager left last week," Gomes told Arena Sportv.

Gomes lost the goalkeeping jersey to Brad Friedel last season.
