Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo during this summer's transfer window, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
The 26-year-old has been a regular for the Spanish champions during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing five assists in 29 appearances in all competitions.
The Portugal international's future at Camp Nou is currently the subject of speculation, though, with Manchester City recently credited with an interest in his services.
According to Balague, Spurs want a new right-back ahead of the 2019-20 campaign and have "asked for Semedo", although the club are yet to submit an official offer.
"What Spurs want is a right-back. They asked for Semedo, again somebody that is for sale at Barcelona but no offer has been received," Balague said on his official Youtube channel.
A recent report claimed that Barca had offered Jose Mourinho's side the chance to sign Semedo as part of an offer for French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
