Real Madrid considering January moves for Donny van de Beek, Christian Eriksen?

Real Madrid reportedly plan to launch approaches for Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen next summer should Gareth Bale decide to leave the club.

Real Madrid will reportedly launch approaches for Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window should Gareth Bale decide to leave the club.

Eriksen, whose contract at Tottenham Hotspur expires next year, is said to have attracted interest from Los Blancos after opting against penning a new deal with the North London side.

Van de Beek, on the other hand, has emerged as a target for the La Liga side following an excellent 2018-19 campaign with Ajax.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Bale leaving in January would enable Madrid to make moves to sign the aforementioned midfield duo.

Recent reports have claimed that Bale now wants to leave the Bernabeu at the earliest possible chance after growing exasperated with Real manager Zinedine Zidane.

While Van de Beek is unlikely to leave Ajax until the summer, Spurs could be open to selling Eriksen in January in order to avoid seeing the Dane leave on a free transfer.
