Nuno Espirito Santo wants to bring Conor Coady with him to Tottenham Hotspur if he becomes the club's new boss, according to a report.

Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly keen to bring Conor Coady with him to Tottenham Hotspur if he is appointed the North London club's new head coach.

Spurs have allegedly identified Nuno, who left his position with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season, as the leading candidate to become Jose Mourinho's successor at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

According to Football Insider, the Portuguese is already making plans in the event that he is handed the role, with Coady viewed as a transfer target.

The report claims that the 28-year-old's leadership qualities make him appealing to Tottenham, who are expected to be in the market for at least one new centre-back this summer.

Coady has made 275 appearances for Wolves since joining the club from Huddersfield Town in 2015, including 113 outings in the Premier League.

The defender, who has also been linked with Everton, is currently with the England squad at this summer's European Championship.
