Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou admits that he does not expect the club to make any more signings in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has conceded that there are unlikely to be any more arrivals before Thursday's transfer deadline.

Spurs have experienced a relatively busy January, having seen a couple of players arrive and a number of individuals leave the club.

In terms of new additions, Tottenham have recruited defender Radu Dragusin and forward Timo Werner on permanent and loan deals respectively.

Meanwhile, Spurs have seen several players head out the exit door, including Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Ashley Phillips, Ivan Perisic, Sergio Reguilon and Djed Spence.

With just two full days left in the winter window, Postecoglou does not expect the club to make any more signings before the deadline on February 1.

"I don't see any incomings," Postecoglou told reporters ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Brentford.

"Outgoings might be a little bit different, because I'm not totally engaged with that, and other people are doing the work around that. I'd say unlikely on both fronts, without ruling anything out."

Tottenham have recently been linked with Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, but the Englishman has no intention of leaving the Blues this month.

There has been speculation suggesting that Spurs could renew their efforts to sign Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa, whose proposed deal to Brentford is at risk of falling through due to issues surrounding his medical.

However, Postecoglou's comments suggest that is unlikely that Spurs will make a late move for the Norway international.

Postecoglou also provided an insight into Tottenham's transfer strategy, revealing that his role has slightly changed following the appointment of the club's new technical director Johan Lange.

"It's been a bit different," the Tottenham boss added. "With Johan and his group of people working alongside him, I've had less involvement in a lot of the preliminary stuff. My role stays specific to probably what it should be, around the final decision."

In regards to matters on the pitch, Spurs will be looking to return to winning ways against Brentford after losing to Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Having picked up 40 points from 21 matches, Tottenham currently occupy fifth place in the league table with three points separating them from the top four.
