Report: West Bromwich Albion yet to receive offer for Saido Berahino

West Bromwich Albion have still not been contacted by a club interested in Saido Berahino, according to reports.

West Bromwich Albion have still not yet received an official approach for Saido Berahino, according to reports.

The striker has been repeatedly linked with Tottenham Hotspur this summer and reports at the weekend suggested that Manchester City were also interested in securing his services before the end of the transfer window.

However, the Birmingham Mail claims that the Baggies have not been approached by either club this summer and are still not considering the possibility of selling the 22-year-old.

Berahino, who scored 20 goals in all competitions last season, is also expected to be offered a new deal in the near future but the situation could change quickly if a club comes close to their valuation of the forward.

West Brom start the new campaign by hosting City on Monday evening.
