West Bromwich Albion midfielder Darren Fletcher has warned Saido Berahino's suitors that it will take "a real big offer" to prise him away from The Hawthorns.
The Baggies took to Twitter earlier this week to deny reports of a £15m bid amid speculation linking him to Tottenham Hotspur.
Nevertheless, Fletcher says that Albion cannot afford to lose the 21-year-old - who netted 20 times last season - and says that he is worth "a lot more" than the figures discussed in the media.
"He's vital to us – he's our main goalscoring threat," Fletcher told talkSPORT. "I can't speak highly enough of him, since the day I stepped in the door and getting to know him and passing on some advice, he's been top class – his attitude on and off the pitch.
"He's very important to us, I think we've got a good chance of keeping him – it'll take a real big offer to take him away because of how much quality he has.
"The figures branded, I've seen £15m – I can't see the club selling him for that, it'll take a lot more than that because of how important he is."
West Brom kick off their Premier League season in eight days' time by hosting 2014 champions Manchester City.
