Report: Tottenham Hotspur offer £8m for Ben Davies

Tottenham Hotspur make an £8m bid for Swansea City defender Ben Davies, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly sanctioned an £8m move for Swansea City defender Ben Davies.

Pochettino is believed to be keen to add depth to his squad in full-back areas, and Davies would provide competition for Danny Rose on the left side of defence.

According to The Mirror, Spurs have contacted Swansea with the offer, but the Welsh club have not yet accepted the proposal.

Swansea are reported to be keen to keep Davies at the Liberty Stadium, although his exit could be inevitable as they look to raise funds for new acquisitions.

The 21-year-old played 33 times in the Premier League last season.
