Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has insisted that he will not leave the club this summer despite links with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Richarlison finished the 2022-23 campaign as Tottenham's second-highest scorer after netting 11 goals in 28 Premier League appearances.

Despite offering a useful contribution, Richarlison was not always guaranteed a starting spot, with Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou often utilising Son Heung-min as the main centre-forward.

With Spurs keen to sign a striker this summer, there has been speculation that Richarlison could be sold to raise funds and a free up space in the squad.

Richarlison addresses Tottenham future

Earlier this month, a report claimed that Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal were showing an interest in the Brazil international.

However, Richarlison has now attempted to quash the speculation over his future, insisting that he "will not leave England" in the summer transfer window.

Posting on his Instagram story, Richarlison said: "I left my vacation and came to work to come back better ahead of next season.

"Regarding what's been said in the media in the last few days, it's fake news. I will NOT leave England ahead of next season."

Tottenham likely to sign forward despite Richarlison comments

The Brazil international also posted pictures of his recovery process, as he continues to work on his rehabilitation from a calf problem.

Having been ruled out of the Copa America, he is now focusing on being ready to feature in Tottenham's pre-season schedule.

While Richarlison is determined to stay put, Tottenham are still expected to sign a striker to fill the void left by Harry Kane's departure last summer.

They are believed to be admirers of Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke, while they have also been linked with a potential move for Brondby's Yuito Suzuki.

Tottenham have also emerged as a potential destination for Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
