Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly keep hold of Danny Rose, despite Sunderland's desire to sign the full-back on a permanent basis.
Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio is believed to be keen on clinching Rose's signature this summer as he impressed the Italian when he replaced Martin O'Neill at the helm of the Stadium of Light.
Despite Sunderland's interest, Rose could stay at White Hart Lane due to Spurs being open to selling Benoit Assou-Ekotto, according to the Northern Echo.
Fenerbahce are believed to have made an offer to Tottenham for Assou-Ekotto.
