Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of playmaker Luka Modric to the Spanish club this summer.
According to The Sun, Real will pay Spurs £36m for the 26-year-old's services, with the Croatian having already made up his mind to play for Jose Mourinho's side next season.
Modric has been linked with a move to Real all summer and even refused to travel with the rest of the Tottenham squad for their pre-season tour of the United States. However, he eventually apologised for his behaviour and was fined by Spurs.
Modric's arrival at the Spanish capital is expected to signal of departure of Brazilian playmaker Kaka, who has been linked with a move back to AC Milan.
