Tottenham Hotspur reportedly remain in negotiations with Real Sociedad regarding a deal for striker Willian Jose.
After missing out on Krzysztof Piatek to Hertha Berlin, Jose Mourinho and the North London outfit are under pressure to bring in another frontman as a short-term replacement for Harry Kane.
According to ESPN, Spurs are moving forward with their interest in Willian Jose, who is said to be keen on a switch to the Premier League.
However, while the Brazilian has requested to remain out of the Sociedad team until the matter is resolved either way, the Spanish side are yet to agree a fee with Spurs.
The report suggests that Spurs have, so far, been unsuccessful with offers up to and including the £25m mark, although discussions continue to be held between the clubs.
The 28-year-old has contributed eight goals from 20 appearances in La Liga this season.
