Tottenham Hotspur eye Mattia Destro swoop?

New Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be keen on signing Roma striker Mattia Destro.

New Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen to make Roma striker Mattia Destro his first signing at the club.

Destro, who is in the Italy squad for this summer's World Cup, scored 13 goals in 20 games for Roma last season.

Despite the 23-year-old's agent recently claiming that he would not be moving this summer, Spurs are expected to lodge a £14m bid for the forward, according to The Metro.

Destro arrived at Roma from Siena in 2012.
