Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly wants to sign a young English right-back during one of the upcoming transfer windows.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Max Aarons and Nathan Ferguson as potential future signings.

The summer exit of Kieran Trippier and doubts over the future of Serge Aurier have led to Spurs having issues at right-back this season.

According to the Daily Mail, this has resulted in Pochettino indicating that he wants to sign a young Englishman to compete with academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters.

Having impressed for Norwich City since the start of the last campaign, Aarons is said to be high on the Argentine's shortlist, as is Ferguson who has starred for West Bromwich Albion in the Championship.

An approach for the latter is arguably more likely given that the 19-year-old currently has less than a year left on his contract at The Hawthorns.
