Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Juventus over a potential move for Swedish attacker Dejan Kulusevski.
The Lilywhites are set to lose out on the signature of Adama Traore to Barcelona, while Luis Diaz - another reported target - is expected to sign for Liverpool before Monday's deadline.
Antonio Conte is still thought to be keen to bolster his forward line before the January window shuts, leading to talk of a possible late swoop for Jesse Lingard.
Now, The Athletic claims that Tottenham have instead turned their attention to Kulusevski, with director Fabio Paratici particularly keen to complete a deal for the 21-year-old.
The report adds that the initial deal would likely be a loan with either an option or obligation to buy the attacker in the summer from Juve, where he remains under contract until 2025.
Kulusevski has one goal and three assists to his name from 20 Serie A appearances this season, although he has only started five of those top-flight games.
The former Parma man has registered a total of nine goals and 10 assists in 74 appearances for the Old Lady since arriving in the summer of 2020.
