Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min is allegedly set to be fit for the World Cup after undergoing surgery on four separate eye socket fractures.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min is allegedly confident that he will be able to play in the World Cup after undergoing successful surgery.

The South Korea international was forced off in Tuesday's Champions League win over Marseille when he collided with the shoulder of Chancel Mbemba.

Son was helped off the pitch by the Tottenham physio before it was later revealed that he had suffered four separate eye socket fractures, which required surgery.

According to The Telegraph, Son underwent the procedure on Friday and following the successful surgery, his medical team believe that he will be able to feature at the World Cup.

Son will want to be involved when South Korea begin the World Cup campaign against Uruguay on November 24 before they face Ghana and Portugal.

Although he is set to feature in Qatar, Son is expected to miss Tottenham's three matches before the World Cup break.
