St Mirren youngster Lewis McLear signs a new contract until the summer of 2018.

St Mirren midfielder Lewis McLear has signed a new contract until the summer of 2018.

The 18-year-old made his senior debut in St Mirren's 1-0 Scottish Premiership loss to Motherwell in December, and has made 11 appearances since then.

He came through the youth ranks at the Paisley club before making his debut.

St Mirren are currently four points adrift at the foot of the Scottish Premiership table.
