Mame Biram Diouf has urged Stoke City to complete a deal to bring Bojan Krkic to the club this summer.
Stoke brought Diouf to the club on a free transfer recently following his exit from Hannover, and the 26-year-old is optimistic that he will get the opportunity to play alongside Bojan, who was confirmed as a target by chairman Peter Coates last week.
"He is a very good player," the Senegalese forward told members of the media. "It would be great because we need as many players as we can.
"The season is long and anything can happen, so we need more players if we can. If we can get him in and helping us, it would be more than welcome."
Deportivo La Coruna manager Victor Hernandez confirmed on Tuesday that he was also eager to sign the Barcelona forward this summer.
