Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has called on his side to record back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they host Leicester City on Saturday.
Last weekend, Stoke claimed just their third success of the top-flight campaign with a 1-0 triumph away at Watford, with the result leaving the Potters in 14th place in the standings.
Stoke host a Leicester side who impressed in a 2-0 victory over Everton last weekend, but Hughes is confident that his players can begin to build a run of positive results before the Christmas period.
The 54-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We needed a reaction against Watford and that's what we got with the manner of our performance. We were able to put in a strong display last weekend and picked up a result some felt we weren't capable of.
"Winning games back to back is never easy in the Premier League but with a win away from home last weekend we hope to win again tomorrow. We're back on track. We're Stoke City, we won't win every game but we won't lose every game either."
Despite last weekend's clean sheet at Vicarage Road, Stoke still possess the second worst defensive record in the Premier League with 20 goals being conceded in 10 games.
