Tony Pulis says that Stoke City are targeting a top-half finish this season.

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has said that the club are targeting a top-half finish in the Premier League this season.

Pulis, whose side are 12th place in the standings ahead of this weekend's action, admits that the Potters want to end their historic season on a high, starting on the road at Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

"Our record against Wigan isn't the best, which is frustrating," he said.

"There have been a number of times when we haven't got the result our performances have merited and we'll be determined to put that right this time.

"We want to push on. It has been a great season as it is, but we would like to finish in the top half of the table."

The Potters are without a win in four weeks in all competitions.
