Tony Pulis wants fairness from officials

Stoke boss Tony Pulis wants an end to what he believes is the unfair treatment of his players.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he has held talks with referees' chief Mike Riley over what he believes is the unfair treatment of his players.

The Potters are the most undisciplined side in the Premier League this season with 32 yellow cards and three reds.

However, Pulis has claimed that his team have been harshly treated due to their physical reputation.

"I have spoken to Mike Riley this week," he told the Stoke Sentinel. "I find the whole situation disappointing week after week.

"Look at the incidents where our players are being booked or sent off, then compare them with similar incidents involving others that are going unpunished.

"All we have ever asked is to be treated the same as everyone else, but there are preconceptions about us that are unfair."

Stoke are in league action on Saturday when they welcome Everton to the Britannia Stadium.
