Will Buckley completes Sunderland move

Sunderland complete the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Will Buckley on a three-year deal for a sum in the region of £2.5m.

Sunderland have confirmed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Will Buckley on a three-year deal.

A fee in the region of £2.5m was said to have been agreed between the two clubs yesterday, with the transfer officially going through this afternoon.

The 24-year-old is reunited with manager Gus Poyet at the Stadium of Light following three years at Brighton.

Buckley becomes Sunderland's seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Jack Rodwell, Costel Pantilimon, Jordi Gomez, Billy Jones, Patrick van Aanholt and Santiago Vergini.
