Sunderland defender Papy Djilobodji has completed a season-long loan move to French outfit Dijon.
The 28-year-old joined the Black Cats following a brief spell with Chelsea last summer but made just 18 Premier League appearances as Sunderland suffered relegation from the top flight last season.
The Senegal international will now spend the 2017-18 in Ligue 1, where he previously spent three years with Nantes.
"Sunderland AFC have confirmed that Papy Djilobodji has joined Dijon FCO on a season-long loan," the Championship club said in a statement on their official website.
"The Senegalese defender will link up with the French Ligue 1 side until the end of the 2017-18 campaign."
Djilobodji could make his Sunderland debut against Caen after the international break.
