Michael Laudrup: 'St Gallen could have earned a point'

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup admits that St Gallen possibly deserved more from their visit to the Liberty Stadium on Thursday night.

Michael Laudrup has praised St Gallen's performance after his Swansea City side secured a tight 1-0 victory in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The visitors to the Liberty Stadium missed a number of chances to claim a draw and Laudrup admitted that he was impressed with the Swiss side.

"When you play in Europe it's like this, we're playing against a team from a league not as competitive as ours," the Dane told ITV Sport. "But you saw how well they played tonight.

"Maybe they deserved a little more."

Swansea are top of Group A following two wins in their first two matches.
