Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal has revealed that he does not expect Renato Sanches to return to action until next month.
Sanches has suffered injury issues since the start of 2018, with a hamstring injury occurring against Wolverhampton Wanderers before the Bayern Munich loanee suffered a muscular problem against Notts County on January 27.
The Portuguese international has struggled since moving to the Liberty Stadium, but Carvalhal has backed his compatriot to make an impact during the closing months of the campaign.
At a press conference, the 52-year-old told reporters: "Renato will recover in about four or five weeks - I don't know - and he can have an impact until the end of the season."
Sanches has made 12 starts and three substitute appearances during his time at Swansea.
