Swansea City prepare for Michael Laudrup exit

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins reveals that the club are looking into future replacements for manager Michael Laudrup.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has revealed that the club are already looking into potential replacements for manager Michael Laudrup.

While the Welsh outfit are determined to keep hold of the 48-year-old at the helm of the Liberty Stadium following his move to the Premier League last summer, Jenkins has insisted that they must be prepared if Laudrup turns down a contract offer.

"I think we have to be aware of different managers and what they stand for," The Telegraph quotes Jenkins as saying. "We're probably aware of certain managers who could come here in the future. It's an ongoing process. Whether it happens in a year, two years or five years, we have to be ready."

Meanwhile, Laudrup will lead his Swansea side into Sunday's League Cup final at Wembley against Bradford City.
