Ashley Williams has said that Swansea City lacked intensity and tempo during their 2-0 loss to Arsenal yesterday.
Goals from Nacho Monreal and Gervinho saw the league cup winners record their fourth defeat in their last six games in the Premier League.
The defender told BBC Sport: "We've got to find that motivation. If that's what some people are lacking, they've got to find it.
"I don't think we played very well. It was the same as last week, maybe even worse. It's disappointing to lose 2-0 at home.
"It was flat. No intensity or tempo. I'm not too sure why. I'd never question the lack of effort, there was just no intensity, no tempo, no urgency. In the second half we never looked like scoring."
The result leaves the Swans ninth in the league table.
