Swansea City have recorded a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic this afternoon courtesy of a flurry of goals at the start of the second half.
The visitors had a great chance to take the lead after just 13 minutes when Shaun Maloney latched on to a loose ball in the box, but Michel Vorm was equal to his effort.

Swansea came close on three occasions at the start of the second half, through Leon Britton and Ki Sung-Yong, before the deadlock was finally broken, prompting a flurry of goals.
Pablo Hernandez got the opener with a low shot into the bottom corner before Michu doubled the Swans' lead just two minutes later when he nodded in Jonathan de Guzman's corner.
Wigan responded immediately, however, when Emmerson Boyce flicked home from six yards to complete a spell of three goals in four minutes.
Wigan thought that they had another three minutes after their first, but Arouna Kone's header was ruled out for offside.
The visitors again came close to getting the equaliser when Franco di Santo picked up the ball in the box, but once again Vorm was there to deny the Latics.
