Half-Time Report: Nothing separates Swansea City, Wigan Athletic

Neither Swansea or Wigan can find an opening goal in the first half of their match as they go into the break locked at 0-0.

Swansea City and Wigan Athletic could not find a breakthrough in the first half of their Premier League match this afternoon.

The visitors tested Michel Vorm after just six minutes through Arouna Kone's effort, but the Swansea keeper was equal to it.

Vorm was called upon again seven minutes later when Shaun Maloney picked up a loose ball in the box before firing a low shot towards goal that was well saved by the Dutchman.

Swansea's first chance of note came through Michu, but the Spaniard couldn't keep his volley down having been found by Wayne Routledge.

Wigan had a decent chance to take the lead towards the end of the half when Jean Beausejour was put through but he couldn't get his shot on target as the sides went into the break all square.
