Report: Swansea City win the battle to sign Andre Ayew

Andre Ayew edges closer to a move to Swansea City after completing a medical today, say reports.

Swansea City have agreed personal terms with Andre Ayew, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is out of contract with Ligue 1 club Marseille, and is keen on a move to the Premier League.

The winger has also been linked with moves to West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, but Sky Sports News reports that Swansea have won the race for his signature.

He is understood to have had a medical today and is close to completing a free transfer.

Ayew scored 52 goals for Marseille in nine years.
