Switzerland boss Ottmar Hitzfeld names his 23-man squad for the World Cup this summer.

Switzerland boss Ottmar Hitzfeld has named his 23-man squad for the World Cup this summer.

Former Arsenal defender Johan Djourou, who is currently with Hamburg, has been included, while his former Gunners teammate Philippe Senderos, now with La Liga side Valencia, is also in the final list.

Bayern Munich's Xherdan Shaqiri is named in a strong midfield that also includes the likes of Tranquillo Barnetta, Valon Behrami and Gokhan Inler.

Meanwhile, Real Sociedad's Haris Seferovic is among the forwards.

Switzerland have been included in Group A this summer alongside France, Ecuador and Honduras.
