Team GB entertain Uruguay on Wednesday in one of the most important clashes in the group stages of the competition.
Stuart Pearce's side picked up their first win of the tournament against United Arab Emirates on Sunday, and they will progress if they can secure victory at the Millennium Stadium.
The same can be said of Uruguay – who also beat UAE – with Wednesday's victor certain of a spot in the latter stages.
Only a win will be good enough for the South Americans, but Team GB will progress in second spot if they draw and Senegal beat UAE.
The omens do not look good for Team GB, however, with British nations having recorded just one win in eight games against Uruguay.
Daniel Sturridge and Scott Sinclair could both come into the team following their goals against UAE, while Ryan Bertrand is expected to replace James Tomkins in defence.
Uruguay could make a host of changes with Matias Aguirregaray and Diego Rodriguez coming into the side along with Abel Hernandez.
Possible lineups:
Team GB: Butland; Bertrand, Richards, Caulker, Taylor; Allen, Ramsey, Giggs, Cleverley; Bellamy, Sturridge
Uruguay: Campana; Aguirregaray, Rolin, Coates, Albin; Rodriguez, Arevalo, Lodeiro, Ramirez; Cavani, Suarez
