Wednesday morning's Championship transfer talk news roundup:

Liverpool 'agree £36m deal for Ismaila Sarr'

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to press ahead with a deal for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.

Having signed Diogo Jota from Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, it was claimed that Liverpool had ended their efforts to sign Sarr before the end of the summer transfer window.

However, according to France Football, club officials have recently held more discussions with representatives of the Senegal international.

The report claims that the Premier League champions and recently-relegated Watford are prepared to do a deal for a fee in the region of £36m.

Although the Hornets are said to be in no rush to part ways with the 22-year-old, they would be making a significant profit on a player who only moved to Vicarage Road last summer.

Liverpool will likely have to offload at least one player to accommodate the arrival of Sarr.

Barcelona 'have five-year agreement for Norwich City's Max Aarons'

Barcelona have reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Norwich City defender Max Aarons.

Following Norwich's relegation from the Premier League in the most recent campaign, the highly-rated defender has inevitably been linked with moves elsewhere.

Barcelona are supposedly in the market for a new right-back - with Nelson Semedo seemingly inching closer towards a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers - and Aarons is said to fit the bill in terms of what the Catalan giants are looking for.

According to Sport, Barca have a five-year contract in place for the 20-year-old and are hoping to get a deal over the line after conceding defeat to Bayern Munich in the race for Sergino Dest.

The report claims that Ronald Koeman's side have already seen an offer of a short-term deal rejected, but Norwich would be happy to accept a loan deal so long as it includes an obligation to buy next summer.

The Canaries supposedly want £20m for the England Under-21 international, while Bayer Leverkusen are also believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation.
