Ronaldinho leaves Mexican club Queretaro

Former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho parts company with Mexican club Queretaro.

Former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho is without a club after parting company with Mexican outfit Queretaro.

The Brazilian announced on his official Facebook account that his contract was terminated earlier this week.

"I want to thank the Mexican nation with all my heart for all the days I spent with such special people, you will always be in my heart," he wrote.

The 35-year-old, who joined Queretaro from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro, helped the club to a place in the Clausura championship final this season, a match they lost to Santos Laguna.
