Watford are reportedly close to securing the future of Troy Deeney on a new contract.
The 26-year-old was linked with a move to Hull City after the Tigers sold Shane Long to Southampton for a reported £12m figure.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Deeney will agree fresh terms with the Championship outfit on an improved contract which will tie him to the club until 2018.
As well as Hull, other Premier League clubs including Queens Park Rangers, Burnley and Leicester City are said to have been interested in the forward.
