Watford have reportedly made a bid for Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza.
The 29-year-old has spent the last three seasons in Turkey, scoring 12 goals in 110 appearances for the Istanbul club in all competitions.
According to Turkish outlet A Spor, Watford have lodged a £7.9m bid for De Souza, although the offer is believed to fall short of Fenerbahce's valuation.
The report also claims that West Bromwich Albion - who were credited with an interest in the player last summer - are weighing up another bid for the Brazilian despite their relegation to the Championship.
De Souza, who has won three Brazil caps, has one year left to run on his contract at Fenerbahce.
