West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson could reportedly be unveiled as the new England boss as early as Tuesday afternoon.
It is understood that the 64-year-old was offered the post in Monday's talks with the Football Association, with signs suggesting that the appointment will soon be made.
A press conference could be scheduled for this afternoon, according to Sky Sports News, after 'positive' negotiations continued.
Hodgson will have little over a month to prepare for Euro 2012.
