Tony Pulis wants to "move on" from Crystal Palace fallout

Tony Pulis says that his 10-month legal battle with ex-employers Crystal Palace "has not affected" West Bromwich Albion, and is happy to now put it behind him.

Tony Pulis has insisted that he has remained fully focused on West Bromwich Albion throughout his legal battle with former club Crystal Palace, which he is now hoping to put firmly behind him.

The Welshman was ordered to pay £3.7m to his ex-employers earlier this week after losing a year-long legal battle over a £2m bonus when he departed Selhurst Park in 2014.

Pulis was reluctant to discuss the case in too much detail prior to his side's meeting with Watford at The Hawthorns, but following the 3-1 victory for his side the 58-year-old once again claimed that he was not in the wrong.

"I've never taken my eye off the ball and this has been going on for a while," he is quoted as saying by the Birmingham Mail. "It hasn't affected the football club. I've come from a very tough background and have been brought up the right way by my parents.

"I'm disappointed but you move on. As I've said before, I don't agree with the judgement and I know I'm telling the truth and that's all that counts for me. That's it washed away and you move on."

West Brom climb to sixth in the Premier League table following their fifth win of the season, with three of those victories coming in their last four outings.
