Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers has said that his side's 3-0 win over West Brom was no more than the team deserved following their tough start to the season.
The Swans, who were beaten 1-0 at the Emirates a week ago, had secured just two points from four league games this season. However, with their win at home against the Baggies, Rodgers's side have lifted themselves off the bottom of the table.
"We have great confidence in how we play and our performance level has been excellent," Rodgers told Sky Sports News. "I thought we were just missing a bit of luck in one or two of the games.
"The performance today was outstanding against a very, very good team. Roy's done a great job at West Brom and has them organised very well.
"For us to complete the performance we did today, scoring goals and retaining control of the game was very good. It's no more than the players deserve. They've been outstanding."
Swansea are now on five points, and move off the bottom of the table into 12th place.
