Sam Allardyce: 'Mark Noble fit for Burnley clash'

Mark Noble "should be fine" to make his return from injury against Burnley this weekend, West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce reveals.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Mark Noble "should be fine" to feature against Burnley this weekend.

The 27-year-old returned to training this week having missed the Hammers' last two games due to a calf injury.

"He has trained for most of the week so he should be fine," talkSPORT quotes Allardyce as saying. "Hopefully he can come back in and make a big contribution like he has done for the time he has been with me at West Ham."

Prior to picking up the injury in West Ham's 3-1 victory against Liverpool, Noble had featured five times for his side in all competitions this season.

Despite the timely injury boost, the East London outfit may still be without Guy Demel, James Collins and Ricardo Vaz Te for the trip to Turf Moor.
