Andy Carroll: 'We will take a point and move on from Swansea City draw'

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll says that his side will take a point and move on from their 1-1 draw away at Swansea City in the Premier League.

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has suggested that his side can be proud after coming away with a draw against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

The Hammers had led through the former Newcastle United frontman's 43rd-minute goal, but City were able to earn a point as Mark Noble put into his own net in the latter stages of the second half.

"We came out and tried to keep a clean sheet for a win but it wasn't to be," said Carroll, according to BBC Sport.

"The referee let a lot go that others wouldn't. It was a real battle out there.

"Obviously coming off with the lead at half-time we wanted three points but the Liberty is a difficult place to come and we will take the point and move on."

West Ham currently occupy seventh spot in the Premier League table, but are winless in four games.
